Robert La Amenaza Garcia was set to fight Errol Spence this Saturday on Spike TV but has pulled out from what’s being reported as a “mental breakdown,” the Monitor is reporting. His trainer, Edgar Sanchez believes that his career may actually be over and that he may be in need psychiatric counseling.
Garcia had won his last 9 fights with his last loss coming against Antonio Margarito back in 2010.
The NBA Finals are over and the Golden State Warriors were the better team the whole time. We all knew it. The numbers knew it. Steve Kerr and Steph Curry knew it. David Blatt and LeBron James knew it. Vegas knew it. There’s nothing surprising about a team that was wire-to-wire the NBAs best, winning a championship. Had LeBron not been in the Finals, we would’ve have been talking about how this has to be one of the greatest teams of all-time. But that wasn’t the case. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the 2015 NBA Finals will not be about them winning the Finals, but about how LeBron lost the Finals.
In the fleeting minutes of the 4th quarter of last night’s Finals game, you got the sense that it may be over. The Cavaliers have nothing left in their tank. There isn’t a single hope that exists for Cleveland other than knowing they’ll try to fend off elimination at home. Even then, that might not be enough.
Back to reality..sort of. If anything, game 4 was good for killing ESPN’s LeBron hard-on just a little. There are a lot of reasons you can point to as to why the Warriors finally woke the hell up. Was it because our goofy-ass NBA Finals hero didn’t go through with his pre-game ritual? Probably not. Was it because Steve Kerr is a liar-liar-pants-on-fire? Maybe. Or was it because some Golden State staffer tipped off Coach Kerr? Well, according to Kerr, actually..yeah, probably.
It happened again. The Cavaliers playing with only 7 guys, basically (sorry Mike Miller :/ ), have thrown everything they’ve got at the Warriors to be juuuust good enough to inch out their 2-1 series lead. Game 3 played out like the narrative sequel to game 2; not as good as the original, but you get the feeling of where the story is headed toward. So altogether now: none of us thought Cleveland could repeat what they did on Sunday.
Last night’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals was not pretty. It was sloppy, at times both Cavaliers and Golden State struggled to score and the refs took control of the game…by not ACTUALLY controlling the game. It was a throwback 90’s kinda game and damn was it a hell of a game.

Alot can happen in week. Between the final buzzer ringing on the disappointing (even though we all knew it would go down this way) pair of conference finals and today, the sports world has had it’s hands full with Caitlyn Jenner and the United States cock-kicking FIFA, then getting bummed about the rest of the world not giving a fuck and getting Sepp Blatter re-elected, and then subsequently having hope restored again a few days later; it’s been a better week than we could’ve hoped for.
