Texas Attorney General: Fuck This Gay Ruling

Not sure if you heard or not, but gay marriage has been legal for about 3 days now and grumpy Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wants to show you that he’s a big boy!

In a statement released on the Lord’s day, Paxton released this hot garbage concerning public officials’ (emphasis on the word public…and official) religious freedoms.

From the release:

“Now hundreds of Texas public officials are seeking guidance on how to implement what amounts to a lawless decision by an activist Court while adhering both to their respective faiths and their responsibility to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution.”

Let me stop you right there. You’re a God-damn public official. You check your religiousness at the fucking door, guy. Do I REALLY want my Postman to NOT deliver my sex toys because HE’s got a religious objection to two-prong dildos? No, I expect my mailman to do his fucking job and deliver my dildos, sir.

Paxton goes on by saying something along the lines of “nah, fuck that. let’s do this instead” by outlining what County Clerks/Justices are allowed to do.

“County clerks and their employees retain religious freedoms that may allow accommodation of their religious objections to issuing same-sex marriage licenses. The strength of any such claim depends on the particular facts of each case. Justices of the peace and judges similarly retain religious freedoms, and may claim that the government cannot force them to conduct same-sex wedding ceremonies over their religious objections, when other authorized individuals have no objection, because it is not the least restrictive means of the government ensuring the ceremonies occur. The strength of any such claim depends on the particular facts of each case.”

So, we’ll just simply ask our brother’s and sister’s working as government officials, you know those who WE pay salary to (including you Ken), to quit your shit do your fucking job.
