Gawker Senior Editors Resign

/

Gawker Media Executive Editor Tommy Craggs and Gawker Editor-in-Chief Max Read have both resigned in response to Gawker Media’s chicken shit play to remove a post concerning sub-human slutbag Conde Nast CFO David Geithner.

Thanks to the power of the almighty ad revenue stream, two amazing editors are gone because Gawker’s senior management have not one vertebra to split between them. You see folks? This is what happens when you let a news-wire site get controlled by business interests and ads. Gawker just, basically, shit all over their own book of core beliefs of being “transparent” and their mantra for “cutting through the bullshit.” Guess they should’ve been more clear and say that they wouldn’t cut through their own.

Let me make this very clear. The Bench Wire is not Gawker. We do not display ads and no one who authors of “CX717: An Ampakine Cognitive Enhancer?” contributes to The Bench Wire is compensated. There may come a day when we may have to consider developing our site for-profit, however it will always remain the stance of the Bench Wire to provide readable content and deliver commentary and opinion on things you care about without fear of retaliation, financial or otherwise.

As for Craggs and Read:

There’s always a job for you here.
